This Sales Solutions Manager opportunity is an excellent position for someone with sales experience, friendly customer service skills experience. In this role, the Sales Solutions Manager will be responsible for providing proactive notification to customers on new and renewing contracts on equipment OEM by Abiomed. Responsible to grow shareholder value through service solutions to new and existing customers that own Abiomed equipment. Other responsibilities include support to US Commercial Sales Team as it relates to service agreements and the dissemination of information about program details to customers.

Below are the main responsibilities for supporting the company's sales goals through great customer service, maintaining quality relations with existing accounts, and providing sales coverage by performing the following duties.

 

 Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Creating Service Contracts quotation and present to customers and Abiomed field sales team
  • Clarify and fulfill customer requests by presenting various selections of products and services providing pricing information in accordance with Abiomed’s menu
  • Ability to use Salesforce to schedule activities, record interactions with customers, create and manage opportunities, create and edit contact information
  • Check and follow up on schedules and lead time for orders and opportunities
  • Resolve customer concerns in an expeditious and tactful manner by strategizing plans in line with company yearly objectives
  • Work with CAM and SAM to offer service solutions on Abiomed equipment owned by the customer
  • Answer incoming sales calls via telephone, written inquiries, and email requests for service agreement related matters
  • Promote and effectively sell Abiomed service products by the established company sales techniques with approved authorization from Manager
  • Filing, organizing, and maintaining sales tools, customer information, and product information in Abiomed CRM
  • Generate Sales Reports and service deliverable reports as requested
  • Create monthly and quarterly sales forecasts and present to the team and department head
  • Work with and interface with legal departments to find a common understanding of the terms and conditions of the service agreement
  • Ability to navigate different applications to gather service, product utilization, and sales history in preparation for customer negotiations

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of related experience preferred; or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to work indepedently and exercise good judgment and decision making within company guidelines
  • Strong organization skills with special attention to detail to successfully manage multiple customer needs
  • Strong presentation skills with ability to influence and educate both internal and external stakeholders
  • Professionalism and executive presence 
  • Position requires extensive phone skills and high degree of organization with general proficiency in the use of MS Office, SAP and Salesforce.com
  • Accurate Data Entry in CRM and ERP systems
