Cardiovascular Outreach Manager

The Cardiovascular Outreach Manager will be responsible for the development, planning and implementation of educational and marketing activities with their customer groups.  They will work with the referring physician community to raise awareness of treatment options with Impella and help to identify care pathways. The outreach manager will be responsible for developing relationships with a wide range of physician groups within cardiovascular care and in the PCP environment and work in partnership with our Healthcare Solutions team nationally to strengthen networks that create access to care for appropriate patient populations.

 Job Responsibilities:

  • Development and growth of referral networks for Impella in adherence with compliance guidelines 
  • Collaboration with field team, marketing, training and education
  • Outreach and In reach events strategically planned and executed in a cost effective manner to increase therapy awareness and referrals

Job Requirements:

  • BA/BS required
  • 2 or more successful years of outreach experience within medical device or >1 year experience in hospital marketing/PR 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the cardiovascular physician community 
  • Demonstrated desire to attain the position
  • Must be able to travel overnight extensively (60%)
  • Ability to use PC's and associated software
  • Excellent written and oral communication skill
