The Sr. Order Management Associate will serve as a subject matter expert and business partner to the Zone Sales GM and their team on Abiomed’s customer service-related operational processes and procedures.


Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Actively build strong relationships with the commercial team and customers as you work in partnership to process customer service-related matters via phone, email, skype. 
  • Ensure smooth execution of orders, quotes, terms and conditions, etc. by working closely with internal stakeholders and our customers
  • Proactively track and provide support to resolve issues that may arise. Provide potential solutions or alternatives. Escalate these issues, as necessary, within assigned zone.
  • Process Returned goods
  • Understand and communicate quarterly sales programs to commercial field team
  • Manage and improve day to day interactions with assigned commercial zone team by leveraging expert knowledge about our product - capital equipment and disposables.
  • Partner with finance, legal, logistics and IT teams to achieve customer outcomes
  • Investigate and solve complex customer issues.  Exercise judgment, within company procedures and practices to determine appropriate course of action.
  • Responsible for organizing daily work to complete all necessary activities.


Job Qualifications:

  • AA required, BS/BA preferred.
  • Strong Communication skills.
  • 2 years of related work experience Supporting a Sales team preferred.
  • Ability to build trusted relationship with Zone Managers and Regional Directors
  • Self-starter, able to work under minimum supervision based on provided guidelines.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience working as part of a team.
  • Familiar with Revenue Recognition (SOX)
  • Proficient in Salesforce and SAP
  • Experience in EDI platform process ordering
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
