Abiomed is seeking an experienced Sr HR Analytics Specialist in an important role to optimize, support, and enhance reporting and HR applications. The successful candidate will deliver key business reports, provide direction on future enhancements, lead projects, and troubleshoot system errors. The individual must have great interpersonal and collaboration skills to be part of various cross-functional projects.



  • Perform deep dive analyses on HR measurements and a wide array of people data sets. Proactively surface outliers, defects, trends, and translate data into meaningful, actionable insights.
  • Analyze data and create complex reports and dashboards through multiple tools.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert in our HR Reports and Dashboards and own the creation and maintenance of existing and new reports.
  • Leverage best use of technology and tools.
  • Work effectively in a team based, dynamic environment, collaborating and sharing knowledge and work.
  • Research best practices and trends in HR and present findings/recommendations to HR Leadership to advance our current systems.



  • 4-7 years HR Analytics experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA or MS degree preferred
  • Solid experience using Business Intelligence tools
  • Superb communication and presentation skills
  • Advanced understanding of Business Intelligence
  • Strong Excel Skills with other Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Good understanding of operational KPIs and how to present them
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering project(s) in Analytics & Reporting
  • Data quality and data cleansing techniques
