The MEMS Fabrication Production Associate will be responsible for manufacturing, inspecting, and testing high quality medical devices while working within a controlled manufacturing system.

 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate MEMS devices per approved manufacturing procedures in multiple process areas including photolithography, etch, deposition and metrology
  • Perform in-process quality checks on in-process material and finished product
  • Utilize small hand tools, calibrated instruments, measurement equipment, microscopes, and test fixtures
  • Participate in meetings as needed
  • Assist engineers with experiments, data collection, observation, analysis, tool qualifications, and reporting
  • Work with engineers and technicians to resolve line issues and production problems and suggest improvements
  • Maintain clean room integrity by using proper attire and adherence to clean room environment practice and procedures
  • Maintain accurate records/documentation related to quality, process logs, work in progress, test results, labor (e.g., timecards), and special projects
  • Process parts as per priorities and deliver goals with minimal supervision
  • Run basic preventive maintenance on equipment
  • Apply workstation practices and line clearance in daily activities
  • Adhere to general safety rules, manufacturing procedures, company policies and procedures, QSR, and FDA regulations

 

 

 

Job Qualifications:

  • High School graduate or equivalent manufacturing experience required. Associates Degree or higher in technical field preferred.
  • 3 years of related work experience in MEMS fabrication, quality inspection, photolithography, etching, and test. Medical device experience preferred or other highly regulated environment.  
  • Minimum 5 years related experience in a Manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working in a cleanroom and under yellow lights
  • Must have good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to work with small silicon and glass substrates in a high-volume manufacturing setting
  • Knowledge of lean, six sigma, kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives a plus.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English 
  • Ability to utilize basic math skills
  • Execute tasks in a timely manner under general supervision.
  • Computer literacy required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite desired
