The Legal Counsel reports to the Corporate Counsel based in the United States and will work in collaboration with In-house EU Legal Counsel  located in Aachen, Germany. The Legal Counsel is responsible for the reviewing, drafting and negotiating a wide variety of contracts and providing legal advice to internal business partners.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  •  Supporting company operations, with an international scope, particularly in the area of civil, commercial, contract and competition.
  • Reviewing, drafting and negotiating a variety of contracts in the EU including NDAs, T&Cs, supply-chain agreements, speaker contracts, public tender terms…etc.
  • Providing legal advice and risk assessment to internal business partners on various matters including corporate law, construction law, etc.
  • Supervising of a wide variety of legal matters arising in the company.
  • Serving as a backup to EU Legal Counsel on healthcare compliance matters 



Job Qualifications


  • Law degree required.
  • 2-5 years legal experience in an international setting (company/law firm).
  • Experience and/or interest in Healthcare Compliance or Life Science preferred.
  • Languages: Fluent English and German skills (written and verbal) required. Additional European languages are a plus.
  • Result-oriented. Pragmatic organization and prioritization skills to effectively manage timelines and multiple projects.
  • High degree of flexibility, commitment and resilience.
  • Interest in identifying and leading process improvements to achieve company goals.
  • Technical skills and good judgment.
  • Diplomatic skills and assertiveness.
