Abiomed’s Commercial Junior Military Officer Leadership Program is a unique opportunity for top Junior Military Officer talent looking to jumpstart their careers in the medical device industry. Qualified candidates are those who excelled in their military careers and are looking to begin a career in the highly sought after cardiovascular medical device space. Those accepted will be placed in a 1-year rotational program, giving them broad exposure to the medical device sales industry. The goal of the program after one year will be for the candidate to develop from a Commercial Leadership Associate into the next Associate Cardiology Account Manager within our field team.  

 

During your first 90 days you will complete the following training:

  • Cardiovascular & Impella training  
  • Strategic selling training 
  • Leadership training 

 

Once your training is complete your job responsibilities will consist of:  

  • Patient & case support
  • Development of go-to-market strategies to support field adoption of clinical research
  • Create & develop programs to increase Impella adoption in new locations
     

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years as a Commissioned Military Officer in the US Armed Forces
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 75% during rotational year
  • Flexible with final location at end of rotational year
