This position on the marketing team EMEA is responsible for coordinating Abiomed’s digital content efforts with a focus on maintaining and optimizing digital marketing platforms, has an attention to detail, enjoys developing social media communication strategies, can build relationships across a global organization and independently holds him/herself to high standards.

This role will develop and execute campaigns and content strategy targeting healthcare providers.  Qualified candidates will be fluent in today’s digital marketing ecosystem including but not limited to CRM, Analytics, Marketing Automation, Email, Media Planning & Social, and Content Marketing.

 

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Understanding of sales and customer needs to further support business growth with new activities
  • Introduction of new company initiatives, delivering creative campaigns and positioning to drive strong brand and commercial value
  • Monitor and prepare clinical data and create clear messaging (for internal stakeholders/sales) 
  • Develop presentations, print material, video and online content together with the marketing team
  • Working closely with the Marketing team, Sales, and Medical Office in order to optimize communication activities including launches, promotions and customer engagement
  • Regularly monitor campaign performance and present it to internal management & relevant stakeholders
  • Monthly reporting on conversions, digital promotions, website analytics, and customer engagement
  • Identify and apply best practices for communications activities
  • Support physician programs & PR activities as required

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degreein marketing, business administration, or similar; Master's degree preferred
  • Several years of demonstrated experience in digital marketing role, ideally within medical device industry
  • Demonstrated proficiency with project planning and budgeting and experience in utilizing data to define digital strategies
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, written and presentation skills and the ability to manage multiple programs at once and effectively prioritize work are essential
  • Strong ability to communicate within cross-functional teams on different levels, nationalities and cultures within and outside the organization
  • A passion for helping others and a desire to help improve outcomes for heart attack patients
  • Very good spoken and written German and English language skills required
  • Willingness to travel ~25% 
  • User experience and content strategy understanding is a plus
